Treatments suited to your needs

Do you wish to see a psychotherapist or a dietitian? Before undergoing treatment, make sure that the costs are reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance (AOS/OKP).

Psychotherapy

In the event of a mental disorder or illness, it may be necessary to call upon a psychologist or psychotherapist. Therapeutic treatment with a specialist can alleviate your psychological suffering and help you regain a balanced lifestyle.

From 1 July 2022, psychotherapy sessions provided by independent psychotherapists or psychologists, as well as by organisations of recognised psychotherapists and psychologists, will be covered by the compulsory health insurance (AOS/OKP).

Before starting your treatment, please contact us to make sure that your physiotherapist or psychologist is recognised.

  • Benefits are reimbursed up to a maximum of 15 sessions per medical prescription. Beyond 30 sessions, the prescribing doctor must send us a request to continue the psychotherapy.
  • In the event of a crisis intervention or short-term therapy for patients with serious illnesses, for a new diagnosis or a life-threatening situation, benefits will be compensated upon medical prescription for a maximum of 10 sessions.

Until 31.12.2022: Please note that delegated psychotherapy carried out by a psychotherapist or psychologist under the responsibility and invoicing of a psychiatrist is covered by the compulsory health insurance.

Psychotherapists or psychologists who are not authorised to practise under the AOS/OKP can be recognised by Groupe Mutuel, provided that they are members of the following associations:
