  • In the event of a health problem, I first contact the telemedicine call centre Medi24 and follow the recommendations.
  • If a medical consultation is necessary, a doctor will contact me for a consultation by phone or video.
  • If it is necessary to see a doctor, Medi24 will refer me to the appropriate general practitioner or specialist.
  • I do not have to contact Medi24 first in the following cases:
    • emergencies
    • gynaecological check-ups and treatments
    • check-ups and treatments related to pregnancy
    • eye check-ups and treatments
    • dental check-ups and treatments
    • paediatric check-ups and treatments
    • chronic illness check-ups and treatments

Available Deductibles

The ordinary deductible is CHF 300 for adults and CHF 0 for children.

Frequently asked questions

If you fail to comply with the rules of CallDoc insurance more than three times in the same calendar year (breaches), you will be transferred to the standard compulsory health insurance model.

If you suffer from a chronic illness, you must ask Medi24 to provide you with a “chronic illness” recommendation. This recommendation will be valid for one year with the doctor treating the chronic illness and must be renewed at the end of each calendar year.

Yes, you must call Medi24 to inform them of this change in your treatment plan. This obligation to call replaces the requirement to send a referral voucher.
