• If you don’t often go to the doctor, you can reduce your healthcare costs by choosing a higher deductible. Because you will secure a discount on your premium.
  
  
  But be careful: This means that you will need to pay for a larger proportion of your medical costs yourself. So before you adjust your deductible, you should consider your financial situation and overall health.
   
• In contrast, a low deductible reduces the proportion of healthcare costs that you have to pay for yourself. However, it increases your premiums.
   

The following discounts are available for the different deductibles:
Example: If you increase your deductible from CHF 1000 to CHF 2500, you can secure an annual reduction of up to CHF 1050 on your premium.

Change your fund within Groupe Mutuel

Groupe Mutuel includes six health insurance providers, all of which work independently. This means that their premiums, which are updated annually, are also different.

Depending on your situation, you may be able to reduce your costs by switching funds within Groupe Mutuel as of 1 January 2024.
