The Board of Fondation Groupe Mutuel has decided to appoint Mr Marcel Napierala as a new member of the Board of Groupe Mutuel Holding SA. His appointment was confirmed at the Annual General Meeting on 10 June. Meanwhile, Mr Marc-André Ballestraz is stepping down from the Board of Groupe Mutuel after 12 years of service.

Groupe Mutuel reports strong financial results for 2025, with a consolidated profit of 115 million Swiss francs. Despite sustained pressure on healthcare costs and intensifying competition, Groupe Mutuel has confirmed the relevance of its strategy and announces strengthened ambitions for the coming years, particularly in terms of diversification and digitalisation.

Groupe Mutuel, a leading insurer in health and pension provision, and Neho, a major player in real estate brokerage, announce the signing of a new partnership. As of today, Neho becomes Groupe Mutuel’s preferred partner for real estate services offered to its policyholders, including property sales and purchases, financing solutions and mortgage renewals.

Excess weight remains a major public health issue in Switzerland. According to a recent survey by Groupe Mutuel, 61% of Swiss people have tried to gain or lose weight over the past year, and nearly half of the population consider themselves to be overweight. At the same time, Swiss people rate their own knowledge of nutrition and exercise as high.

A new study conducted by the University of St. Gallen on behalf of Fondation Groupe Mutuel provides a new basis in favour of supra-regional hospital planning. It shows that in 25-50% of cases, patients already seek treatment outside their canton and are therefore willing to travel longer distances. On this basis, Groupe Mutuel calls for comprehensive healthcare planning in five to seven healthcare regions.
